My sister had a beautiful and healthy baby girl two days ago, Natalie Quinn. I just adore that name and we are all overfilled with joy. She is in Florida and I'm up here in the Midwest, so I cannot wait till the day I get to meet my new little niece. My baby girl is no longer the baby of the family but we are OK with that. Change is good and babies are even better!
We have some new additions of our own too. Nooo, not babies! It's five brand new sewing patterns and we are thrilled about them. But before I start the reveal, I need to announce the winner of the STUDIOS Magazine contest:
Random.org picked comment #27 and that is...
~Lollipop Doodles~ said... CONGRATULATIONS!! Your excitement and enthusiam is ABSOLUTELY contagious!! Couldn't be happier for you and the company. It's just BEAUTIFUL...Felicidades!!
Please email us your mailing address to info@modkidboutique.com and we'll send you a copy of the STUDIOS Magazine that features MODKID HQ. CONGRATS and ENJOY!!
OK, so let's get rolling with the pattern reveals... I will start with the one that seems to have everyone's hearts aflutter on Facebook...
ADDISON
Addison is a sweet, classic, vintage-inspired dress with lots of heirloom details... perfect for a family portrait, a wedding or a school event. It features a three-button closure on the bodice, sweet bubble-style sleeves and a long sash that ties into a pretty bow in the back. A set of tabs at the front gives the overskirt a scalloped look and lets the underskirt peek out ever so slightly.
A huge thanks to my little models Anna and Sydney for the beautiful pictures and to my lovely assistant, Emalee, for the gorgeous design!
Addison comes in sizes 2T to 10 and will be available for purchase the first week of September. Ask your local fabric shop if they will be carrying the new MODKID patterns... we are accepting pre-orders NOW!
I would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to my testers, Debbie Peasley and Melissa Baker for helping me work though all the initial kinks so that we could present to you a flawless product. I am forever indebted to them! And... as always, their modeled photos were TDF cute! Just check these out...

Again, we are taking wholesale pre-orders now but the patterns will be available on our website the first of September. Can't wait to hear what you all think!
OH, and I almost forgot, here's the pattern cover shot in my new marigold studio. :)
Stay tuned for more reveals... but in the meantime, a couple of announcements and questions:
- I opened a Flickr group for Grand Bazaar. Please join and share your creations!
- We are officially sold out of Scrap Bags but we'll be adding more soon... don't worry.
- Any interest in Knit Scrap Bags? We have a few of those I can add to the site.
- Don't forget to check out our Scrap Lab Kits and Ribbon Samplers... only a few left!
Gracious! Just LOVE that Addison! Can't wait to sew that one! :)

Such an adorable dress. I just LOVE this one. Give Emalee a big congrats from me. Those fabrics are just perfect too (of course) for that pattern. I can't decide which I love most between the two.
ReplyDeletePS ~ Please if you would Patty, ask Emalee if she got my email? Thank you.
this is adorable! I LOVE it!!! I really love how so many of your patterns are SO very modest!
ReplyDeleteI think knit scrap bags would be awesome! Do you ship to Canada?
ReplyDeleteI love this! I can't wait for it to be available.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for the sweet comments. Glad you like Addison as much as we do. :)
ReplyDeleteVicki, I just asked Em and she said she will check her email again tonight. She doesn't check it as often as I do, LOL. And doesn't bring her laptop to work usually.
