I'm happy to report that I finally got my mojo back (thanks to all for your words of encouragement) and artwork for my next fabric collection is currently at Michael Miller and on its way to the mill shortly. PHEW! So now that we are in full studio clean-up mode in preparation for our impending cross-country move, I have some sweet treats for you.

scraptastic2

We have collected some rather large bags of scraps from all my fabric collections. I hear scraps are in huge demand so here's your chance to win one of these babies.

scraptastic3

They are all different:
  • The Mezzanine bag is by far the heftiest -- weighing in at over 2 lbs! -- and contains a wide variety of scrap sizes from all 17 designs in of the collection.
  • The Andalucia bag is not as heavy but it has the largest pieces of all the bags... some even larger than a fat quarter! And since this collection is now retired (yes, you read right!) it might be the most valuable in the long run.
  • The Flora & Fauna bag is the third largest but it also includes some knit pieces (if this entices you any).
  • The Playdate bag is the smallest of all, but also the newest collection. The pieces are rather large, just not as many pieces as the other ones.

scraptastic4

I'll make this easy on you: just leave me a comment and let me know which bag makes you the happiest and what you would do with the scraps if you won. I'm a sucker for a great story. ;)

Four lucky winners will be chosen a week from today (Sunday, June 20th). GOOD LUCK, ALL!!!

***UPDATE*** This contest is now closed. See this post for a list of the winners. Thank you all!!

  1. I loooove the Mezzanine line and I haven't gotten a chance to work with it. I make cute little doll beds and I can see some pretty quilts produced from those awesome scraps. Congrats on finishing the new line!! :)

  2. I'd love to get my hands on the Andalucia bag--it's my absolute favorite of the four collections! If I got it, I'd use it for a variety of things...appliques, doll clothes, covered button, and maybe even raggedy fabric bows!

  3. Oh OH OH!! A chance at Patty Young fabric?? I might just faint! I love them all, but Flora and Fauna is my pick...I love the colors and the prints in that line, especially the stone colorway!!! Good luck with your move!!

  4. I would love either the mezzanine or andalucia, i have yet to see either in person yet. as for what i would make, i am not sure yet, i guess i would have to wait and see if i won, and what i won, to see what inspiration hits!!! thanks patty!!

  5. I'd love to have the Andalucia bag. I would use the pieces to make a quilt for my baby sister who is getting married soon. :)

  6. I think my favorite is the mezzanine. I would make yet another scrappy quilt. I love scrappy quilts. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  7. They all make me happy! :) But I think the Flora and Fauna makes me the happiest. I would finally make a quilt for my daughter. She has been asking for a while and I have made everyone else one and now it is her turn. I would probably try my first scrappy quilt but with your fabrics any quilt would look great!!

  8. Moving is so much work! I love your designs and have made a couple of snuggle baby blankets with Andulcia, but I would love the Mezzanine. I might try to make a patchwork skirt out of it for me, I need something girly to wear while chasing two toddler boys!

I would love to try mezzanine. I've had my eye on it for awhile. I'm not 100% sure what I'd make with it, but I have a niece who loves pink, so I'm pretty sure it would go into whipping something up for her. :-) Great giveaway1

  10. I'd like the Mezzanine scrap bag. Truthfully though, any would be wonderful. My local Modern Quilt Guild is starting to make pillowcases for all the women and children who enter our local Emergency Women's Shelter. Most of the women who go there arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The same goes for the children. The scraps would be great for appliques on the children's pillowcases or to make a scrappy band on them. We also plan to make small stuffed toys for the children. Thanks for offering this great giveaway!

I would love the Playdate bag because my 2yo daughter is in love with the fish print! I would probably make a scrappy skirt for her or her doll; maybe even a pillowcase or appliqués.

    ReplyDelete
  12. I love the Flora and Fauna line so that bag would make me the happiest. I would love to play with some knits and I would use some for applique. Good luck with everything, I love it all!

  13. I would LOVE to have the Mezzanine bag -- i have some from that line but don't have any plans as of yet.... How knows maybe that bag would push me over the edge to get the plans started.

Thanks for the great give away!!!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Any would be a joy for me! I guess the Andalucia bag, but truly it does not matter!! If you draw my name I'd happily take whatever was chosen for me because I love them all! I'd use them for a block swap I'm participating in on Flickr. :)

    ReplyDelete
  15. I'd love the mezzanine bag. I would make a scrappy quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I would love them all! Can't I please have them all?!?!?!? Well, fine, if I have to choose I would love the Flora and Fauna. That (besides the new line) is the only collection that I haven't bought yet. I plan on making some quilts to pass down when I'm old : )

    ReplyDelete
  17. ooh! so generous! My favourite is the Andalucia. I am in desperate need of a new wallet and this would be perfect for the scarppy wallet I have in mind.

I think I would like to also make something for a random act of kindness for a special friend. <3

    ReplyDelete
  18. I would be happy with any of the scraps. But my absolute favorite collection is Flora and Fauna. I'd use it to make throw pillows for my daughter's room. And I've never used knits, I think I could get great practice with using them.

    ReplyDelete
  19. I MUST have the Andalucia bag. I had been saving and saving to get my hands on some when I found out that most places that will ship to me had sold out. I had promised my child a quilt of it's loveliness and this scrap bag will allow me to atleast incorporate it.

Being an International I would of course cover the postage if I won.

    ReplyDelete
  20. I adore flora and fauna but i have loads of it. i would choose the Andalucia, becvuase my hubby bought me some as a suprise and i'd love some more of it to make a quilt!, but lets be honest any of them would be gorgeous!! ( can't wait for those knits!)

    ReplyDelete
  21. Andalucia bag would be my choice. I just love the look of these fabrics. It would be great fun to work with them.

  22. I would LOVE Mezzanine but I wouldn't turn down any of them ;) I am making a "big girl" room for my daughter who is starting Kindergarten in the fall, and so far I've incorporated lots of Flora & Fauna. I'm making scrappy pillows, a duvet cover, curtains, and probably some fabric baskets/boxes for hair pretties and such. Oh! I could use scraps to make hair pretties too!

    ReplyDelete
  23. scrappy doll quilts, pincushion gifts, I could go on and on of course : ) The Andalucia is nice but any would make me happy.

    ReplyDelete
  24. oh the mezzanine bag because i'm in love with all of the fabrics from that collection and have used up everything i purchased! secondly, i'd say flora and fauna because i've been meaning to purchase some and just haven't been able to yet :) i love scraps, i use them to applique tees and piece together patchwork skirts or shorts for my little girl, but am also working on a ticker tape quilt that would love having some patty young scraps added to it! :) great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  25. I would love the FLora & Fona scrap bag. I would stitch up a ravishing apron to wear in my 90 year old house, hoping to detract my companys eyes away from my ancient floors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hm, this is tough one. I have bought your entire Flora & Fauna collection recently (well not ALL of it obviously) and can't wait to use it. but I am really craving the Andalucia line too. I would make a handbag with them as a gift for my partner's mother. (we all know how important it is that the in laws like us :)

I like all of them? Do I have to pick a bag?
Couldn't I just say ... I take what you give me?
I would like to make a doll Frida/Kyoko for my little girls babydoll ... and as my niece turns 4 in August, she might be very happy for a dress for her doll as well ;) :D

Just to try to be in it and hooooope for the win ...

  28. I would love any of the 4 bags!!! Each one makes me happy in a different way. I am just getting inot sewing with knits, so that one would be fun....I have also been wanted to make a patchwork camera strap cover so any of the bags would make a very cute one!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I would have to say any of them mwould make me happy but the new playdate would make my daughter extremely happy.....She wants her bedroom redone in that.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Flora and Fauna is my favorite line EVER! I love love love it. As to what I would do with the scraps.... hmmmm. Since they are so girly, I would have to make something for me... maybe a fun scrappy sewing machine cover! That would be neat!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love the second one, the Andalucia. I can use some of it to make fun rosettes, patched clutch and other things. :) I love the colors of it. Count me in! I want to win! Yaye!

  32. Flora and Fauna by far! I have yet to have a chance to work with your fabric, and would the chance! And I have two little girls that would LOVE to have scrappy little skirts to wear. Or for my oldest girl, a chance to put together her first quilt!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  33. I would love to win the Andalucia bag. I bought fabrics of that line when I first started to get interested in cotton prints from the non-european countries (where I live). And back then I didn't even know your name (nor any other name) and when I finally discovered that community called blogland :) I was so so so happy to find out that I could read about that collection!
So this bag would be a memory to my first baby steps online :)
And of course, it will have to be a quilt! There are two babies coming up in my family (one of which I just found out about!!!!) and I would love to make something for them.

    ReplyDelete
  34. The PlayDate bag would make me happy. I would make a bunch of car visor CD holders for all my friends to put their kids car music in.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'd go for the Mezzanine line because that's probably what I have the least of on hand-I still have a bit of AndaLucia & a lot of F&F. I sew clothes for my grandkids & that gives me lots of scraps for quilts. I think a lot of Mezzanine, because of the geometric shapes, really work well in quilts and the colors work great, too (as do all of your beautiful colors.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Cool! I'd love the Mezzanine bag. I have been thinking about making a spiderweb quilt. This would be a great addition.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Wow - what a great giveaway! I love all your fabrics, but if I have to choose, I guess I'll go with the Flora and Fauna bag. And if I win? Definitely a scrappy quilt for myself, probably to use in my new sewing room. Thanks for the giveaway and good luck with the move!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Definitely the Andalucia. I haven't had a chance to use all the prints yet and my daughter is in need of more dolly clothes. I know she would love those!

    ReplyDelete
  39. Loving the andalucia! Also, the scrap giveaway is so fun! Can't wait to see who wins. Good luck with your move!

    ReplyDelete
  40. To hard to choose just one! Mezzanine and Flora and Fauna are two of my favorites. My girls would love some quilts for their dolls. I could even make some fabric flowers.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I would love to see the Flora & Fauna. No one around here sells it and it would be so fun to work with. My 11 y.o. has been making these adorable bracelets and we've been embellishing cut offs. The scraps would be perfect for the jobs.

  42. Oooh, pick me, pick me (and, you know, if you did, I could just come pick them up, you wouldn't even have to pay postage). It's so hard to choose, but I think I'd go for the Andalucia as I've been wanting to make something out of that. As for what I'd make, I always have a hard time visualizing until I have it in my hot little hands, but probably a purse for me and a scrappy little dress or jumper for my daughter.

    ReplyDelete
  43. I'd like any of them, but the mezzanine would be my favorite. As to what I would do with it, cute flower hair clips/brooches. Maybe a scrap baby quilt. A scrappy bag. Well, lets be honest. It would probably sit on my fabric shelves along with all the other fabric that I merely sit and stare at and IMAGINE all the things I would do with it!

    ReplyDelete
  44. I wouldn't be picky but my favorite line is the Messanine. So, I would think that would be my favorite. I'm just starting out and have found that smaller is better for me. I can't seem to sew a straight line (yet) for much past 2.5 inches. So, I have a couple of patterns that use scraps. One is not quite around the world but it uses nothing but 2.5 inch squares. I also have another patter "fish" (or maybe "no fish") that uses alot of small triangles. I really have enjoyed quilting and think I have finally found the hobby that I actually finish things - amazing. I wish you the best in your new lines and cloths!! Thanks for the giveaway... fun, fun, fun!!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I'm starting a red and turquoise quilt, so I'd really like that flora and fauna bag cuz I see lots of it in there. PLUS, I just made a purse with some flora and fauna for one of the kid's teachers (see www.beanieg.blogspot.com for pix). PLUS, I'm very sad that you're leaving the midwest, but happy that you'll be near family. Good luck with your move, Patty!

    ReplyDelete
  46. Any of those bags would make me happy but I won't be greedy. :) Playdate would make two little girls who I know very happy. The colours are so bright and cheerful. What's not to love.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I don't think I could pick... I'd take any of them but I guess if I had to choose I'd go with Playdate just because I haven't seen any of it in person before. I'd make lots of scrappy little things- I bet I could find enough to use for your Stella purse pattern that I've been waiting to make!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Ack!! What an awesome giveaway! I would love any of the bags but would have to chose the Andalucia bag because I was never able to get my hands on this minus the half yd a friend gave me :) I would love to make a lil baby dress for my lil bean due in Sept and a matching skirt for my oldest :D After 3 boys I get another girl, YAY!!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Lovely:) I would truly love any of the four. Awesome prints. I would make scrappy clutches.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I would love the playdate collection bag, since I am so excited about making my youngest darling granddaughter the doll collection she is just 10 months old but already loves dolls she calls them her baybay it thrills my soul to see her love her dolls so much her mother had the same love from such an early age too. I would love to make her a matching outfit to go with the dolls.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I would love any of the bags, but I would love to make a patchwork purse for MYSELF~ don't do it too often. Either Andalucia or Playdate would be my choice since i only have a few of A & none of Playdate yet!! I have to say my favorite print of yours so far is the dandelion~ I have it in every color! Thanks for the opportunity!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Love the Andalucia - but the knit pieces do intice. I have a niece that handed down some of her favorite clothes to my daughter. I think a patchwork, three tier skirt would serve as a great thank you with a matching applique for a shirt...

    ReplyDelete
  55. I love Flora and Fauna! What a great giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh this is wonderful! As many others have said, I would be happy with ANY of them ;) However, if I have to choose, then I would love to make a scrappy quilt out of Andalucia or Flora & Fauna for my soon-to-be-born daughter!

    Thanks for the opportunity :)

    ReplyDelete
  57. Wow! All of these bags sound amazing! My favourite would have to be the Mezzanine though - Love those colours!

I just have to think it is cool that you even have a market to give away your scraps!!! I'm not sure anyone would want my scraps ;)

I saw a very beautiful quilt the other day made with tiny scraps sewn onto a background so I'd have to have a go at that if I was lucky enough to win...

    ReplyDelete
  58. oooh my goodness! how fun! i would be happy with either the Mezzanine or Andalucia scrap bags!!! love those lines! i love to use fabric scraps on my scrapbook pages and mini books! fabric scraps are probably the best to work with, i don't feel as guilty cutting them up :)

    ReplyDelete
  59. Nicki C K6:36 PM

I LOVE all of your prints patty! ALL OF THEM! As far as which scrap bag I would choose, I think it would have to be F&F because I see so much red & aqua and that color combo immediately makes me happy! :-)
What would I do with the scraps?... I would make some "scrappy" lounge chair pillows for my Mom's patio set. She always sews for others and almost never sews for herself. The lounge chair pillows have been on her to do list for too long! While Mother's day has passed, I would love to make them for her as a "just because she's such a great Mom" gift. Thanks for the giveaway Patty!

  60. I'd love the Mezzanine! I never did get a hold of any of it, but I think the geometric would be beautiful even as little snippets! I'd piece together the small bits in strip quilt fashion and use them for all sorts of things! Outfit accents for my girls, and some little sewing room accessories for myself!

    ReplyDelete
  61. I think I will have to go with the Playdate. The colors are so vibrant. I am anxious to get my hands on a doll panel so maybe there will be a piece of that in there. I have 4 grand daughters, ages 3 weeks to 5 years. I made various dresses out of your Andalucia line that turned out adorable. I had just enought scraps to make a dress for our new little one. I LOVE YOUR FABRICS AND PATTERNS.

    ReplyDelete
  62. I love the Andalucia line and would love more scraps of it. Having married a Spaniard and falling in love with Spain, I thought it captured Andaluica and the Spanish culture beautifully.

I would use the scraps for a scrappy quilt I have in mind but haven't found the right fabric for yet.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anonymous6:45 PM

Mezzanine! We are finishing off our basement and have gotten a small plain ikea couch for the playroom and those fabrics are the color pallet that I want to make the pillows are accessories for it!

    ReplyDelete
  64. I would love the Flora and Fauna bag! My sister-in-law and her husband have been trying for years and years to have a baby, and they finally have a sweet baby girl due next month. I would love to make her a baby quilt out of your beautiful fabric!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I've just discovered you! I've made 6 Julia skirts for my girls with the Flora & Fauna fabric and they are so cute! I'm making a few more this week to keep my mind off an upcoming surgery. I absolutely love love love your patterns and fabric! I would love more flora & fauna, but I would take any in a heartbeat!

    ReplyDelete
  66. You are so sweet to share your extras with us! I am learning to sew and would love some beautiful patterns to inspire me! I think Flora & Fauna is my very favorite collection! I just love the colors and bees!
My little girl thinks the sewing machine is a miracle! I love chatting with her as we sit and "sew" together!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous7:00 PM

They are all amazing and I wouldn't mind winning any of them! But I guess Flora & Fauna and The Playdate would be the top two. I would likely make some skirts for my girls or even something for myself like a broach or headband! I am new to sewing again after 22 years so I have a billion things on my to sew list right now! (I first learned to sew in 7th grade!)

    ReplyDelete
  68. I would love to have playdate. How awesome to have some of the new line. My granddaughter loves twirly skirts, I might could patch one together, she's small!

    ReplyDelete
  69. I love them all! Too hard to choose! You know I have some of every line so I would of course love to see the new stuff but I can use any of it, so I would be thrilled with any! I think I would make something for my Julia, a new skirt or patchwork pillow! Plus I am always up for new fabric for cloth balls, blocks or birthday banners! All of your designs are amazing!!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. I would love the Mezzanine line. I am expecting baby number 11 any day now and I would make her and her 19 month old sister some matching patchwork dresses :)

    ReplyDelete
  71. I will take any of them, while I am a quilt artist, I do make small lap quilts for kids with cancer that get delivered to the hospital and given out to those child patients. This is what I would do.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Oh-what a great giveaway! I would love the bag of Flora & Fauna scrap because I'm currently working on a yoyo quilt and those are the colors I'm working with. Yummy!

    ReplyDelete
  73. Oh so much fun! I'd love to win the Flora and Fauna bag! I'd use the scraps to make my stationery items. I love making card sets and would love to help bring back writing and mailing letters. It's so nice to receive a letter in the mail, especially if it's adorned with gorgeous fabrics don't you think?
    Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  74. Are you kidding? Which one I'd like best? Flora and Fauna would have to squeeze into first place, mainly because I LOVE knits! I love sewing comfy clothes for my kids and right now I'd probably use it to sew undies for them. Second choice would be Playdate because I am dying to get my hands on some of your potty girsl! So cute! I haven't actually seen any of your collections in real life but they all look so gorgeous online. I was so thrilled to hear about your knit collection! Gotta have some of them!

    ReplyDelete
  75. My first choice would be the Mezzanine bag! The colors used are the go to colors I tend to use a lot. I would probably make a scrappy pillow with some of it and the some quilt blocks.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Hmmm...which bag - I don't know they all look fabulous! What I would do - make some sort of quilt project - table topper or runner. Love to have new stuff to work with. Glad to hear your new line is off to the printer. Thanks too for the fun giveaway! Enjoy! A cross country move - oh my - I know about those - good luck!

    ReplyDelete
  77. Of course I'd love to have any of these packs, but Mezzanine would probably be my favorite! If I received one, first I'd make some hexagons for my hexagon charm quilt, then I'd stash some away for my bee month (August 2011) because they would be perfect for the scrappy quilt blocks I want my bee members to make me!

    ReplyDelete
  78. If I had to pick a favorite, I guess it would be the Mezzanine. I would probably make some doll quilts with it. Thanks for the giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  79. Golly what an awesome giveaway! And seriously I have to PICK one? That is like picking your favorite child. Impossible! Hmmm I think I would pick The Playdate and share it with the Kindergarten class teacher at my daughter's school. She makes a raffle quilt every year and I think the colors and style of they fabrics are very playful and would be cute for a kindergarten quilt to be sold. And if for whatever reason she didn't need it, then I would use it for my daughter's raffle quilt. Not that I want to give away the fabric, but it really is perfect for kiddos! And DARN we would have to buy more of it to supplement the quilt! And then I would have to bid on it to win it back! Hmm something wrong going on here with the logic!

    ReplyDelete
  80. I've been wanting Andalucia since it came out! BUT I never had the funds to purchase it when it was available....that said, I might be afraid to sew up that fabric! Just kidding! I'd make the girls some patchwork skirts OR splurge on a new handbag for me...that bag of scraps might just possibly push me over the edge to try quilting!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  81. I would be interested in the playdate bag :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. Well, the Playdate has been enticing me. I can't look at the "girls" without remembering making dolls with my mom. :) That being said, all of your designs are beautiful and I would be delighted with any of your bags!

    ReplyDelete
  83. I would love the mezzanine bag, but wouldn't turn down any of the others either!!

I'm in the midst of making my daughter a quilt-as-you-go full sized quilt for her bed (my first) and I'd love some of your amazing scraps to be worked into the patchwork!!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Mezzanine is my favorite!!! I will probably make more of these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/43060344/mezzanine-zippered-pouch-clearance

    ReplyDelete
  85. The Andalucia for sure! I LOVE that collection! I would love to make my daughter a patchwork skirt out of it. Sheesh, if there is enough, perhaps a patchwork skirt for me instead :)

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'd love the playdate bag, I'd use it to make something for my daughter :)

    ReplyDelete
  87. What an incerdible give away! I'd take any scraps you have!! But if I must pick I would say Flora and Fauna. I can just picture using these pieces to add to the perfect accent to my daughter's clothing (and bows - don't forget the bows!)

    ReplyDelete
  88. Oh! I'd love the Flora & Fauna scraps please! I'd use them for a quilt (of course!) - maybe a spiderweb!

    ReplyDelete
  89. Mezzanine is my favorite...and I'd love to have the scraps to make hexagons for a modern hexie quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  90. Choosing is almost impossible; they are all so fab! I guess I'd have to choose Mezzanine. The colors in that collection are amongst my favorites and I don't own any of that collection. I do have a handful of fabrics on hand from your other collections namely Andalucia and Flora & Fauna. I Love your style and am excited to start seeing stuff made up with your new line! Oh, and I would make purses and patchwork pillows with my bag of scrappies~should I win!

    ReplyDelete
  91. i would seriously love any of them! I have 6 (yes 6!) friends/family members that are pregnant and I have a ton of sewing to do for them all!

    ReplyDelete
  92. I would choose Andalucia! :)

    ReplyDelete
  93. I would love Flora & Fauna the colors are so pretty but they are all so pretty. I think I would make a scrap skirt for my 2 year old with the fabric. I heart all your stuff :)

    ReplyDelete
  94. My pick would be Flora and Fauna. I'd be for making some doll clothes for both of my girls who have birthday's coming up! My almost 4 year old would love that as she keeps telling me her "Ty" baby doll (named after her cousin) has a naked bum!!

    ReplyDelete
  95. Andalucia would be my favorite. I would make a quilt or some bags.

    ReplyDelete
  96. I have to say Mezzanine is my favorite collection of all of yours... although playdate is a very close second:)I would make some scrappy quilts for my girls or maybe some clothes for them. Thanks for the giveaway... so awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  97. Oh Man! I just don't know what I would do with my self if I actually won a bag. I would probably pass out from the fact that I actually got one. I love them all.

Most of all I love bright colors. I think it is a toss up for me, but I do love the Flora and Fauna line so much.

I would definitely make some towels for my shop, or for myself since I never do that. Then I would probably make some cute wall hangings with the rest. The possibilities are endless. Thanks a bunch!

  98. I would love, love, love the Andalucia bag, but seriously any of them would feel like I've one the lottery! Hmmmmm, what would I create with all that yummy goodness? I think some fabric covered beads would be fun, patchwork skirts - definitely!, some fun hair bows - absolutely! This is after I throw it all up in the air around me screaming - I won, I won! 99. I would be happy with ANY of the scraps, but I think my favorite is Flora & Fauna. I sew for my GD, and I love to accent her clothes with bright colors and appliques.
    This is so exciting!

  100. I would love the Flora and Fauna bag. I want to make a house-warming quilt for my brother and his girlfriend. He's an artist who pays the bills by being a counselor for addicts. He would appreciate the great colors. I'm thinking of a wonky log cabin.

  101. Flora & Fauna is my favorite of your lines so far, but I would love to win any of them! I would either make a quilt or just use them for small scrap projects (which I really am having fun with right now) depending on what there is. Thanks so much for giving away your scraps!

    ReplyDelete
  102. I'll take any bag. First choice- Andalucia. I have been wanting more of this collection for some time and I now that it is no longer available, I have to have it. Second- Playdate, crossing fingers there is a doll in the mix? Third- Mezzanine, the more fabric the better. Last- Flora & Fauna, knits would be fun to try. It's hard to rank them but I would ANY of them!!! Good luck with the move.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Forgot to mention, I would make a patchwork skirt for my girls and some baby doll quilts. Sorry for adding another comment, I tried to edit the first comment but it wouldn't let me and I didn't want to throw it away.

    ReplyDelete
  104. My favorite is the Mezzanine! I'd love a chance to win any of them!

    ReplyDelete
  105. The Flora and Fauna bag would make me happiest! I love the stone and raspberry colourways, and would use the fabric to make quilts. And the knit would encourage me to try sewing with knits so I have the confidence to actually order some!

    ReplyDelete
  106. I'd love to get Mezzanine bag - since I couldn't find this line by my european distributors.

    ReplyDelete
  107. I love the playdate bag. My daughter( will be 4 the 20th :*( ) looks through the new lines of fabric with me and LOVESSSS this line. She wants her whole room done in it. So I figure if you pick me to win playdate bag... I'll HAVE to buy more to do curtains, a quilt, rug, ect... So all in all I would like playdate! Thanks!

I would LOVE the Mezzanine line. My boyfriends mother was nice enought to let me live with her for 6 weeks this summer for an internship program. I had never sewn before and she taught me in the first week. I have since made 14 pillows from some of her fabric scraps. I would love to make her some pillows that she could keep to remind her of this time!

    ReplyDelete
  109. I would love the Andalucia, it has always been my favorite line. I would make a baby quilt, and hexies and possibly some fabric flowers and maybe a doll quilt. Would not let a speck go to waste!

    ReplyDelete
  110. Congrats on your move back home. I would be happy with any of the bags of scraps. I would use some of them in string blocks for the string quilt that I've been working on for more than a year (mostly off and not so much on.) I would also use some for quilting bee blocks. thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  111. What do I love???? ALL OF IT!!! I think each one brings a certain pleasure to the eye and gets my attention. You're a very talented person and I pray that you continue to be blessed in all that you do!

    ReplyDelete
  112. Oooh, I love them all, but the Flora & Fauna is my favorite. I have the Turquoise Double Border Daisy and will be making a skirt for my daughter with it. She is all girl and loves purses, but I haven't sewn one for her yet. I would love to sew her a purse to coordinate with her skirt. I found an Ottobre pattern that I adore. These pieces would work perfectly. Thank you so much for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Decisions....

I'm torn between the Mezzanine bag and the Andalucia bag, but I would gladly take any of them.

As to what I would do with them...a crazy quilt comes to mind. I'm assuming with all the different shapes and sizes it would only be fitting.

Something quilt-related would more than likely be the preferred project.

    ReplyDelete
  114. So hard to choose... I'll have to vote fo the Flora and Fauna. bacse I just love it!
what would I do? I thing a scrppy bag or a baby blanket :-)
Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  115. I would love ANY of the bags because all those fabrics are awesome. Like so many other people who've posted comments, I would probably use many of these in a scrappy quilt. I'm also currently making a dog bed cover out of tiny scraps.

    ReplyDelete
  116. I like them all... I wouldn't care which one! I'd put them into a quilt for my daughter :)

    ReplyDelete
  117. I Love Earth mod blooms, so I'd have to pick Andalucia! I'd love to try quilting some pillows, maybe mix it up with brown minky. And maybe a case for my gps. =)
Good luck with the move, hope it goes smoothly.

    ReplyDelete
  118. OOOH!!!!! I would love to win. I would probably piece together some fun coordinating fabrics and make a dress for my friend's little girl. My top choices would be Andalucia and Mezzanine. :)

    ReplyDelete
  119. Flora and Fauna or Playdate...that is such a tough choice!!! I am thinking I would make more of the cutey little little doll dresses, my daughter likes to sew with me. I have a few cute purses in mind or I could use it to teach my Brownie Troop to sew this fall. Some new things in my daughters room this year...8 years old now, maybe on the bulletin board or headbands!? So many possibilities...please pick me!!

    ReplyDelete
  120. i would love the the flora & fauna bag. i have two little girls that need a quilt and i am in love with this line and have never been able to get my hands on some. the colors are just beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Oh what a great giveaway!! I would love to win the bag of Andalucia fabric, love the colors in this line and I could see a sweet lil lap quilt or some appliques from this line .

    ReplyDelete
  122. Oh my....being only recently introduced to the world of designer fabrics, I'd be over the moon excited to receive any one of the bags you are giving away! As for what I'd make with all the scraps. I'd make cute little coin purses, key fobs, tissue holders and any cute little gift I'd think of that could be given away for the enjoyment of others. I love sewing things for other people and seeing the absolute joy on their face when I suprise them with something new!!! I've also dreamed of making a cute little doll quilt to hang up over my sewing machine with fabric scraps leftover from project. That would make me happy to see each day!! :) If I had to make a choice, I'd probably go with the Mezzanine or Andalucia bag for it seems I'd be able to make the most gifts out of one of those bags! Thanks so very much for such a great contest!!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. I love all of your collections! Andalucia is my all-time favourite, but I have a number of bolts from that collection already - so I would have to say that I would love the FLORA & FAUNA bag, as I haven't worked with it yet.

I work at a Children's Hospital, and I am hoping to make quilts and stuffies for the kids that have to stay for long periods of time - they need something fun & cheerful to look at everyday.

Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  124. I would definitely have to pick the Flora & Fauna bag....we just got a new puppy (pug/yorkie mix) and she absolutely loves soft blankets. I want to use the scrap pieces to quilt one side and sew minky to the other.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Andalucia for me please

    ReplyDelete
  126. Flora and Fauna because I haven't been able to use these fabrics as much.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I just love the new line. So I choose Playdate! Wow! Its so hard to choose. I make bags, so I would incorporate them into some of my designs. I am also so interested in quilting, so they might go toward a scappy quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I would love the Andalucia bag. Since all of my quilts are scrappy these days I am sure that these fabrics would fit right in for a future project.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Mezzanine totally! Thanks! I love your fabric and can't wait for the knits!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  130. Oh I am so for the Mezzanine, but would love to do some fun stuff with any of the grab bags. I have a thirteen year old daughter that is so sick of little girly decor in her room and yet is forced to share a room with a four year old. I would love to use anything to bring in some fun funky color to her room wether it be small things like throw pillows (maybe a doll dress for a doll for baby sister to bring her on board to the whole idea ----she is a lover of the pink princess. the more pink the better). However because her Dad is in school and is doing some very low paid work this summer between his training with the Army, I cannot just run to the store and grab project supplies for the proposed changes. That's my story and I am short of begging! Pick me pick me pick me!!! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  131. Either Flora and Fauna or Playdate! I make things mostly for my daughter, and both those collections are perfect for that. I'll probably use them for making doll clothes or doll quilts and maybe a patchwork skirt. Yummy!

    ReplyDelete
  132. It has to be Flora & Fauna for me! I LOVE that fabric :) I'll be making pot holders and a tea cosy and if there is enough then maybe it'll be placemats instead. Thanks so much for being *you* Patty and for the give away chance (a girl can never have enough scraps to play with!)

    ReplyDelete
  133. :D I'd like the the mezzanine collection, because i want to do a beautifull quilt to my doughters wall, whith a small squares: with english rose windows.
    Oh I want these pack....
    I love your all collection!

    ReplyDelete
  134. I'd love any of those bags! I just adore all your fabric lines.

    ReplyDelete
  135. i realy have a big crush on play date
so even though the bag is the smallest- i will loveto play with that fabric
and i know exactly for what: my daughter has a white mettel doll bed and it needs some new sheets and pillow and curtain- so thats the right collection for this project
    thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  136. Gosh it's hard to pick... but if I must the Andalucia! I think I would make a spiderweb quilt?, Especially if there were a lot of selvedges?!

    ReplyDelete
  137. OH...choosing a favorite bag is like choosing which of my four sons I love most.
Mezzanine- The bright crips look of these fabrics would make a great summerdress for my niece.
Andalucia- This is little girl fabric that has grown up and cries out to be made into a chic baby quilt.
Flora & Fauna- Those hummingbirds are wonderful and the whole slew of colors make it perfect for a scrappy quilt for myself (yep me...I have yet to keep any quilt for myself and these colors are me)
Playdate- This collection screams FUN! I love novelty prints and those goldfish and lanterns are perfect for I spy quilts.
How to choose one when they are all wonderful? I will let you choose...any will be put to good use!

    ReplyDelete
  138. Wow, I just love the Mezzanine colors, its my favorite. I would make all kinds of purses, appliques, little bags for phones, Nintendo and that kind of stuff. Just take a look at my weblog to see what I make of little pieces of fabric. Thanks in advance.
    Love from the Netherlands,
    Josette

  139. I would probably do some beautiful hats. I love the colors. So I love your designs. Stay creative.

  140. Hi Patty, i would like the Mezzanine, just because no shop in The Netherlands have it! i was in Seattle last month and was looking all around for it, but only found one bolt and bought all there was on it, hihi... but i need more that will go with that one.... hihi... I did order playdate-fabric for my shop here, and cant wait to get my hands on it, but it will take a while before i get it here.... Have a good time moving! And how great is that your husband joining you!

  146. I have a little 8 yr old who is taking her first sewing class today. She would love these scraps to make clothes and blankets for ther AG doll and lovies. Can't wait to see sneak peeks of the new line!

    ReplyDelete
  147. I would love the Mezzanine scraps! I am going to start the many years long project of creating a Grandmother's flower garden quilt and I am sure I could use some of those scraps to add to the quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  148. mezzanine or flora & fauna would be my pick! don't have any of either, but I love eying them ;)

    ReplyDelete
  149. I like Mezzanine. I am teaching my 8 yr old daughter to quilt and we are making a quilt for her bed this summer. She has chosen a scrappy quilt and Mezzanine would be perfect for her room.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Mezzanine or Andalucia, but really, I would be happy with anything. And I would be making doll clothes for my girls' dolls.

    ReplyDelete
  151. such gorgeous choices! hard to choose...flora and fauna would be my #1 pick..id love to use some scraps for fabric covered button hair ties...also making some quilt as you go log cabin quilts for my nephews birthdays in october (must keep working on those!!) im sure these scraps would make it into many other projects including quilts and fabric garland!! oh the places this fabric will go!!

    ReplyDelete
  152. Oh Andalucia, how I love you! :)
Retired fabrics make me sad... but seeing these all bundled up in a happy baggie makes me smile! :)

  154. Id love to have the Flora and fauna or the andalucia bags.
Id love to put together a quilt for quilts for kids. Ive made 3 for them already. Helps a child with cancer or other horrible sickness get a quilt made with love.

    ReplyDelete
  155. I would love the Flora and Fauna bag - I am redoing my girls room and would love to make some quilted pillows with the scraps - how cute would they be?

    ReplyDelete
  156. I would love the flora and fauna and think I would make a few patchwork pillow covers!

    ReplyDelete
  157. I love those Mezzanine prints - I've got a great pattern I've been wanting to try for even the teeniest tiniest scraps, so you can be assured that the scraps will have a good home here!!

    ReplyDelete
  158. I'd love a chance at the Andalucia bag!! I absolutely love that line! I'm collecting as many scraps as I can get my hands on because I want to make a king size quilt - all out of scraps!!! It'll be so much fun!! Thanks for the chance!

  159. Wow! What a difficult decision. I love, love, love Flora and Fauna, but have already made a pinwheel sampler quilt with it. I would love to try some of your other fabrics. Since you said Mezzanine has scraps from every print, I will say that would be my top choice because I have been wanting to make a spiderweb quilt, but I have only been quilting for under a year and don't have much in the way of scraps yet. Thanks for the consideration!

    ReplyDelete
  160. Oh, tough choice. I like the Mezzanine, cause I think those scraps would make an awesome baby quilt for my soon to be coming Niece. But then again Flora and Fauna is my favorite line, and I could probably make a really neat scrappy skirt.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I've always loved the flora and fauna line, so that would definitely be my pick ! And scraps are always great to make hairclips for my girl, doll clothes, and fabric small toys for my baby to come !

    ReplyDelete
  162. I would love the Andalucia bag. I would make a small blanket for my daughters babies (which she has just discovered and loves very much!

  163. Anonymous10:23 AM

play date would be my favorate. My 3 girls would have a blast telling me what all the scraps should be. good luck on the move

    ReplyDelete
  164. I Love all your fabrics! I choose the Andalucia bag. BUT feel free to send me any of them:) I would love to say I am planning to make some spectacular creation out of it, but the truth is... I will just lovingly fondle them, smile that I won and keep them to gaze upon!

    ReplyDelete
  165. I would love the andalucia bag. i would probably just hug the scraps. then i would probably make a dress for my daughter. maybe. i might be selfish and just keep hugging them.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I would love any of them really, but especially fauna and flora, because it's a recent crush, and I haven't gotten over yet (don't want to, either). It would mostly go into doll quilts and clothes (the Doll herself is starting to get into playing out things with her cloth dolls, and I would rather she practice dressing and undressing on them than herself, for now), although I'd save a few bits for appliqueing on the Real Life Doll's clothes.
Good luck with the moving, and thanks for the giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I think I'd just roll around in them! Andalucia or Flora and Fauna. This is impossible, Patty! Like selecting the brightest star.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Renee W11:15 AM

Wow, so hard to chooose!! But if I had to I would say Flora and Fauna for some awesome baby things for the new (first) graddaughter. I'm really enjoying working with knits lately after a wonderful local class and would love to my hands on those.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Anonymous11:19 AM

It's hard to choose! My favorites are Mezzanine and Andalucia. I think I'd choose Andalucia because I got into this modern fabric craziness after that line was pretty much sold out everywhere so I'd love to get my hands on some!
I love scraps & I think I would utilize them in a couple different projects. Definitely use a few bits in one of the scrappy quilts I have in progress and the rest for dog beds.
We have 3 pups and only one handmade bed, 2 store bought. The dogs race to get the handmade bed, they love it! So I'd like to replace the 2 store bought, that way nobody has to fight ;)
    Boy I talk a lot!
    Good luck on the move!!

  170. I would be happy with whatever scrap bag I was lucky enough to win. My daughters love fabric scraps. They fold them, iron them, and carry them around the house in ziploc bags and call them their "collections". I am teaching them to sew and they would love to have some new scraps in fun prints and colors!

  171. I would like Playdate...I love the goldfish prints...so nice! What would I do with them? Make purses and clutches...duh.

    ReplyDelete
  172. How do you choose? I guess since I've had a chance to work with both Mezzanine and Flora & Fauna I would love Andalucia or Playdate!! Scrappy skirt, doll quilt, who knows? Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  173. How do you choose!? Any of them would make me happy, heck a scrap of one of your fab fabrics would make me happy any day! But if you are twisting my arm to chose I would loove to work with the Mezzanine.
I recently purchased your patterns for all of the doll clothes and the clothes bag. The Kyoko is my favorite! I am also dying to attempt the Emma dress and purse for my Ella's 2nd birthday in Novemeber. My goal is to make a little doll wardrobe and matching blankies for all the special little girls in my life as Christmas surprises. I think we all need to get back to meaningful home made gifts and your patterns and fabrics have made that easy for me! Thank you Patty, you are awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  174. OHHH {Love} the Flora & Fauna!!! Right now we are in summer dress, tunic, top mode. Lori and I {Amy} love to "out-do" each other for our girls birthdays every year. We try to create something new to give and the Flora & Fauna is BEA.U.TI.FUL

    ReplyDelete
  175. I just love your Flora and Fauna range. I recently made two identical dresses for my 2 yr old twins (photos on my blog) and they look lovely. Unfortunately I didn't have enough of the blue hummingbird fabric to make another dress for my eldest daughter and she is wracked with jealousy. If I won the fabric I would make her a scrappy style skirt of the range to try and appease her!

    ReplyDelete
  176. I would love any of them. I just made a goal to do a sample quilt and any of these would work. They all sound fabulous!

  178. Hi Patty,
I too like to recycle. I have just started making bowls out of strips of fabric and cotton rope. I is not so much the design you see when you make these but the colors. Your Mezzine line has all 17 of the collection It would be wonderful. As for any larger pieces It would be nice to have foe some small bags I'm making for my nieces for gifts. Thank you so much for sharing. Pam

    ReplyDelete
  179. Mmmm.... Choices.... I think I would have to go with the Mezzanine. I would make a spider web quilt out of it, so each little small piece would have its place to shine.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Oh I love them all! I think I'll pick playdate! So cute... my 13 year old loves to sew with me, we'd probably make some patchwork bags, or clothes for my baby niece... fun!

The Andalucia collection is my favorite and I would love to create a patchwork skirt with it, but my 7 1/2 year old daughter has just started making pillows on her own, and the Playdate scraps would help her make a great pillow for herself and her Webkinz!

    ReplyDelete
  183. I first learned what a fat quarter was when a friend sent me a link to a listing of your Andalucia on the fatquartershop website. She was raving about the colours! I have to say I think I like your mezzanine line just a little bit more (today anyway!) and the scraps would make a great quilt for my new neice. Thanks for the chance!

    ReplyDelete
  184. I just starting back sewing and unfortunately I don't have money for designer fabrics but your collection Flora and Fauna is so great that I'm saving some money to buy it. Thanks for the giveaway, maybe I can use the money to buy a your new fabric collection instead!!! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  185. I would be completely happy with any of the scrap bags. I love making little things like pin cusions, wallets, piecing tiny bits for handbags...etc. I love the bight and cheery colors in your designs!

    ReplyDelete
  186. Oh wow! I love all of them so much. If you twisted by arm, I'd say I'd love the Andalucia bag. My second choice would definitely be Playdate, which I can't wait to get my hands on!

    ReplyDelete
  187. I would LOVE any of them! they are all fabulous... if i had to pick, I think I'd pick the Mezzanine bag. But seriously, I love them all!

I LOVE scraps! I would love doing little applique things on everything... and I'm also making a quiet book for my girls that has lots of applique and this would be perfect!!

  191. I would have to say the Andalucia bag. I love the deep colors and would love to make fun little baby blankets with those scraps since I have so many friends these days having babies (including me!)

    ReplyDelete
  192. I haven't bought any Flora & Fauna yet, so I'd really want that bag! They're so bright and fun. I think I'd add them to my strip quilt pile. I'm building up scraps to make one this winter!

    ReplyDelete
  193. Thanks for a chance to win so a wonderful prize. I think I would love any of the bags but would really like the Andalucia bag. I got into quilting after this line so I haven't been able to find it. Right now I am working on a hexagon quilt using 1 inch hexagons. It is a labor of love for sure but it is fun portable work. Can't wait to see what your next line holds. Seeing as how I love them all I am sure it will be another great one.

    ReplyDelete
  194. I love the playdate the best, but since your andalucia collection is now retired, i'd love to get some of these scraps. -I've been wanting to make a few sewing machine covers, so these scraps would be perfect.

  195. I pre-ordered Sandi Henderson's new book Sewing Bits and Pieces, and am loving it!

I started a project from the book that will hopefully encourage my dear Grandma to venture out more. It is the cute library bag, and I even tweaked the pattern by adding a pocket with a flap to it.

I would like to do more projects from the book, and perhaps use them to brighten the days of still more people. So I think the second option The Andalucia stash would be the best for my projects.

Of course I hope to win, but am happy for whoever does. ;) Thank you!

I'm a huge sucker for Andalucia. I'm gathering all the scraps I can get my hands on because I've got my mind set on some patchwork seat covers for my new dining room. Problem is, the dining room is new, but the chairs are a third-generation hand me down, and are badly in need of some, well, covering. I've also get my mid set on a matching table runner, but I think I'll have to cross that bridge and see I'm STILL in the mood once the chair covers are done.
