Light and color

First of all I would like to thank all of you who voted to support MODKID for Mission: Small Business. Your comments here on the blog and on FaceBook were so sweet all I could think was how lucky I am to have friends like you. The voting period ended at midnight on Saturday night and we received more than enough votes to qualify us for the grant, so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! So, now we sit & wait until they decide if we will be one of the 12 companies deserving enough to receive it. Fingers & toes crossed!

Well, I promised I'd share some pictures of the Lantern Festival taken with my big camera, so here they are. I am still in shock at the beauty I saw there. I relived it all over again as I was editing these pictures today.

This ship was completely made with recycled plastic water bottles. Stunning!

  1. Beautiful! I really need to get there sometime, and I live here. Maybe when the temperatures are out of the triple digits. Congratulations on getting enough votes and I hope you get the grant!
