Giveaway Winners and 2010 Pattern Reveal!

WOW, what a week! First I want to thank each & every one of you for the well wishes, comments, emails and tweets regarding the procedure I had done last week. Your jokes, poems and funny stories had me smiling from ear to ear... THANK YOU! I must say that I'm floored at how many of you out there have experienced similar situations. I guess it's not the kind of thing everyone wants to talk openly about, but hey, it's life. I feel I need to clarify that I did not have a hysterectomy (VH), although I can see how some of you could have assumed that. I had a HydroThermal Ablation (HTA) also known as Endometrial Ablation. If you're not familiar with the procedure, you can click the links above to learn about it. I'm so thankful for modern medicine allowing options for women with my symptoms. Twenty years ago, there was really only one solution and I would've been bedridden for weeks. Time will only tell if this was the right choice. Who knows, I may have to go for the VH eventually, but for now, I'm feeling great... knock on wood.

OK, now on to the fun stuff! 260 of you commented on the pillow giveaway and and here are the lucky winners:

CONGRATULATIONS to each and every one of you! Please email me at info@modkidboutique.com to claim your prize. And thank you again to all who visited and commented!

  11. Hi! I love those new doll patterns. I have been making my niece scads of doll clothes for her American girl for Christmas. My mom bought me an apron doll pattern and from that I've made pj's, jeans and shirt sets, capris, dresses, skirts, pants, etc. She will have one well-outfitted doll. But these are too cute.

  17. Holy cow but those patterns are awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on them, as usual. Glad they're not coming out until January so I can wrap up all my stuff and have lots of free time to play with them.

  18. I just love your doll clothing patterns. My girls have 4 American Girls and have been begging me to make them matchine dresses for them and their dolls. I do wish that your patterns were in larger sizes for my older daughter. She is starting to size out. I a glad that you feel better :). Last Dec I had a H. They did it through my bellybutton. Apparently, it is not as common to do the VH anymore. So if you do have togo that route it wasn't that bad and it only slowed me down for a wek or so. I wasn't bed-ridden or anything :). Have a great evening:)

  19. HI,

I was wondering if it's possible to get a swatch of fabric from de Flora & Fauna collection?

We just bought a new house and I want to paint my daughter's Room to match the fabric (from that collection) I will be buying the fabric to make a duvet cover) But I think that the fabric will only be available in January... I will be painting her room next week...
Please let me know If it's possible and how to go about it!

(I want to paint her room a shade of pink, so I would need the swatch to have pink in it)

    Thanks so much!

    Marie France

  21. I can not tell you how excited I am to see your doll patterns are on schedule!!!! I think I am more excited than my daughter, that is crazy!! She doesn't know it but Santa is bring her the 1 thing she really wants...no not the hamsters...a Just Like You AG doll. When your patterns come out in January there will be a whole wardrobe to go with it for both of them!
The garment bag may just put me over the top. I may not be able to wait for it to hit my local store, might be an online purchase!

It will be a wonderful birthday present to me...I am a "New Year baby" almost, Jan 4th.
    Thank-you, Thank-you!

    How to make a website

  24. My daughter Shaiyasha is so addicted to 18 inch dolls! Clothes, mini houses and apparels are her favorite add-on collections for this cute toys and she is craving for more. I showed your site to her and I saw her eyes glimmering. Glimmering, her own way of pleading, her own way of silently saying that “I want that Papa”. I am also planning her to by a set of Michael Jackson clothes for 18 inch dolls —coz she’s been pleading since the movie showing of THIS IS IT! Whow! It’s a Dad’s life!
